Jim
Villanucci is the #1 afternoon drive host on 50,000 watt News Radio 770 KKOB in
Albuquerque, New Mexico's most listened to radio station. During the day, the station
covers all of New Mexico, and at night much of the Southwestern U.S. Villanucci
has also been picked as a fill-in host for nationally syndicated talk radio because of his
knowledge, experience, and accomplishments both locally and nationally.
Prior to his move to Albuquerque, Jim was heard on KDWN 720 AM in Las Vegas, NV (the
station that launched Art Bell, and remained Art's flagship station for years), Hot Talk
105.1 FM in Las Vegas (NV), and well known talk radio station KOGO AM 600 in San Diego.
KKOB Program Director Pat Frisch says, "Jim fills the 3 PM to 7 PM slot with a
special brand of wit, compassion, and controversy that is unmatched."
Jim's show is predictably unpredictable, covering politics, relationships, religion,
race, rock n' roll, sex, drugs, local and national events, and all the other things one
should never discuss at a bar.
Villanucci is in his fourth year broadcasting on KKOB. In the unpredictable world of
radio, Jim enjoys the relationship he has with Albuquerque, all of New Mexico, and the
listeners. "This is home ... these are some of the greatest people, and I am proud to
be a New Mexican."
